Jumbocruiser operate double deck sleeper coaches out of Newport

Jumbocruiser usually do not have any full time vacancies available.  Instead we take people on who we have come to know as a result of double driving. 

What we do is maintain a database of drivers and during the busy periods (May, June, July, November, December) who we can phone up and invite to do a double drive.  It does not matter if you can not do that drive as we do understand and will call you again.

We employ drivers who have a professional manner and are capable of driving 14 metre double deck coaches with manual gearboxes and often pulling trailers.  The drivers will need to drive in a calm manner, it is not a race and we are not looking to impress the passengers with how fast the bus can go.  Full anticipatory skills are required.  By definition, when on double drives it is usually due to the length of the journey between cities and therefore the ability to drive long distances with only the legal stops is an essential requirement.
