For this reason we are not the cheapest around but we believe we give good value.

We also do not sub-contract other than in emergency situations, or if you have agreed we may do so, so you that it is highly unlikely you will get an inferior coach.

We base our charges base to base at Clevedon near Bristol for sleeper coaches and Stansted Airport for day seated coaches.

We are more competitive for "sensible" journeys up to 200 miles average per day.  If you want to save money on transport keep your journeys short, don't expect the transport company to subsidise you !!!

Transparent Jumbocruiser Pricing 2008

Due to our pricing formula we are probably the cheapest quality provider for UK and Arena tours but not so competitive for high mileage double drive type work as we charge for fuel and wear and tear unlike many of our competitors who strangely seem to charge a fixed daily rate regardless of the work involved. 

Following is our formula for buses carrying musicians and crew (our preferences are not really for stars, we prefer and are priced best for crew work). These are the maximum rates, we reduce in them in the quiet periods. We give priority to our customers in the busy periods who have used us in the quiet periods though.

Our pricing is inclusive. That means you get the coach, diesel fuel,  driver, reasonable washing, weekly bedding laundry.  It does not include the driver's per diems, trailer allowance, meal allowance. Hotels are not usually required for European drivers as they usually sleep in the coaches.  It does not include tolls, bridges, tunnels, ferries, road taxes, Belgian VAT, etc which will be included on the final quotation once calculated.  The formula below does not include double drivers or drivers required to take over during statutory rest days or getting them to and from the coach.

Pricing for a Premium quality double deck coach during high season in 2008 is typically £450 a day, and single deck coaches at £400 a day. Our VIP double deck Star Bus at £510 a day. For economy conscious customers we offer an Economy 14 bed double decker at £50 a day less than the Premium deckers.  Please note pricing will go up in July 2008 by £25 a day to compensate for the average cost of the required modification of the exhaust systems on our coaches for the London Emission Zone.

You get an average of 75 miles a day included then there is an excess mileage charge for all extra miles. That charge varies according to the cost of diesel but as a rough guide assume £1.05 a mile for single deckers and £1.24 a mile for double deckers and £1.36 a miles for the double deck Star Bus (December 2006). We will happily quote and accept payment in Euros. Our quotations will include all ferries, bridges, tunnels, tolls, road taxes (except Norwegian, and Belgian VAT, but not parking (or parking fines) or Norwegian road tax. (These rates adjust both up and down according to our average fuel cost)

Trailers at £90 a day plus any associated road tolls, ferry costs etc. If you do not have a huge amount of backline you may wish to consider a Megaloader which is a 14 or 16 bed coach with a wlk in loading bay at around 85% capaicty of a trailer.

Please note that each hire is charged a one time flat "cover charge" of £250 so short trips may seem more expensive per day than longer ones.

We can quote you in, and you can pay us, either Pounds or Euros.

Double drivers: We charge you £130 a day per double driver or relief driver. There is a standard flat £300 charge to cover plan, taxi, parking, train, hotel, or whatever at each end of the hire which is reduced to £100 if we can source a driver where we can avoid costly tranport (for instance if the bus ends in London and the driver lives within 75 miles of London).  Sorry but these charges are not downwards negotiable. You will also need to pay the double driver his allowances (see above).
